Rustem Khamitov told about plans for modernization of regional economics to "The Russian Newspaper"
The President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov gave an interview to to the journalists of "The Russian Newspaper" and told them about plans for modernization of the regional economics.
Thus, the President RB called opening of a techno-park near the biggest gas-chemical complex in the town of Salavat one of the projects.
"In my opinion this techno-park will give new workplaces, new technologies and will help us to attract modern innovational designs and, the most important thing, it will help us to raise our competitive ability" — Rustem Khamitov said — "The enterprise "GASPROM NEFTEHIM SALAVAT" is a purveyor of large-tonnage output and less interested in further reforms. Nonetheless the world experience shows that diversification of such enterprises and widening of their assortments are considered the main guarantee of their stable work in the future. "GASPROM" is interested in new products and me, as the President of the region — in new workplaces. Small and medium business should form itself around big productions. It will help to tax collection too".
Rustem Khamitov also told about new projects in other spheres of industry. For instance, "Hydraulics" intends to produce micro-turbines and modern gas-dynamic machines, able to produce heat and electric energy. Such machines should replace low-efficient diesel electric stations on the vast northern territories. Organization of the production of the first-class hydrolytic glass in Tuimazy will let us penetrate into the world market of medical glass. Wood processing is one more big problem. In the nearest future the saw mill, consisting of four powersaw benches for production of glued squared beam, will be put into operation in Blagoveshensky region RB. Production of LED lamps is launched too. In the nearest future the plant for production of fertilizers will be erected in Burziansky region. Cattle-breeding is actively developing too. In particular, modern cattle-breeding centers with the capacity up to 28-44 thousand heads of cattle will be launched in several regions of the Republic.
"At present time we are developing 43 investment projects" — the President RB said to the journalists — "The summarized amount of all investments reaches 300 billion rubles and finally all these projects mean additional taxes, new workplaces and good salaries for people, i.e. we are solving the problems the Republic is facing now. We try to make comfortable conditions for all participants of the market and investor for us is any person, who brings money to the Republic. Sure, a citizen of Bashkortostan is the most desirable investor for us, citizens of Russia and foreigners go further but we don't intend to divide the investors into some categories and we will provide all of them with the benefits, if they are going to develop their business on our territory. Our main goal is new workplaces, additional incomes and, finally, the increase of economic activity of our population".
