Sergey Afonin is appointed a Vice-Premier and the Minister for housing and communal services of Bashkortostan
On December 16 the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov signed the decree concerning appointment of Sergey Afonin a deputy Prime-Minister of the Government RB and the Minister for housing and communal services RB, the public affairs service of the President RB reports. Earlier Sergey Afonin held the office of a deputy Prime-Minister of the Government RB.
For the reference: Sergey Afonin was born on January 25, 1959, in Kumertau. He has finished the Ufa State Aviation Technical University in 1986 (mechanical engineer) and the Bashkir Academy of public service and management under the President RB in 2005 (a candidate of economic sciences).
He began his labor activity in 1978 as a milling machine operator at the helicopter plant in Kumertau. In 1978-1980 he served in the Russian Armed Forces.
In 1980 he worked as a dispatcher at the plant “ISKRA” in the town of Kumertau.
In 1980-1990 he was working as an engineer, a chief engineer, the head of the bureau and the head of the quality control dept at the helicopter plant in Kumertau.
In 1990-1996 he was the head of Kumertau repair and building dept.
In 1996 he worked as the general director of the repair and building dept in Kumertau.
IN 1996-2010 he was working as the head of Kumertau administration.
IN 2010-2011 he was working as a deputy Prime-Minister of the Government RB.
