International information center “Elections-2011” starts working on December 2
The international information center “Elections-2011” stats working in Moscow today, December 2. The center is organized by the Association of non-commercial organizations for protection of suffrage with the assistance of the Russian Federation's Public Chamber, the press-service of the Russian Central Election Committee reports, and organization of interaction between the foreign observers, Russian public organizations and mass-media is its main goal.
Briefings and press-conferences with foreign observers, representatives of Russian public community, Russian and foreign political scientists, experts in sphere of suffrage and members of the Russian Central Election Committee will be organized and the “hot lines” with voters, SMS-servers and “The Truth Code” will be launched on the square of the international information center.
On December 4, the Day of voting, the center will be working round-the-clock and the end of its activity is scheduled on the evening, December 5.
