On November 30 the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov addressed himself to the State Council-Kurultay-RB with the annual Message “Working for People”, in which he highlighted the key directions in development of Bashkortostan in the nearest and in the more distant future.
Less than 8 months have passed since the presentation of the first presidential message to the Bashkir parliament, where the a confidence building in the case of authority and making the justice an inalienable norm of life again were called the main strategic goal and the main guarantee in further progress of the society. In the second Message the President RB answered the questions to what extent the republic managed to move forward, gaining the abovementioned goals, was the course towards closer integration of the authority and the society successful, what were the aims for the nearest future and what results the Republic could figure on?
“The main challenge we are facing today is the nonconformity between the economic power of the Republic and the level of life of our citizens” — the President of Bashkortostan stated — “We live on the beautiful land, rich with lands, water and natural resources. The powerful economic, scientific and educational potential of Bashkortostan was built up by many generations. Today our Republic is considered one of the most economically developed Russian regions but the main contradiction is that those people, who created and continue creating everything we are proud of now, receive miserable salaries, often live in shabby cabins and are deprived of other deserved results of their labor. The principle of justice is thereby violated”.
It is inadmissible, the President RB stated.
“The economic showings are not the end in itself but just an indicator of to what extent we are able to solve the problems of our people” — Rustem Khamitov mentioned – “Making the treasures of the Republic and its economic potential working in the interests of ordinary people is our aim for the nearest future and for that the authority should turn its face towards the everyday needs of our population. Working for people – this slogan is called to determine the long-term prospects of the authority as well as the everyday life of our citizens”.
