The first all-Russian forum on social tourism to be held in Bashkortostan
The gathering of the steering committee for preparation and holding of the first all-Russian forum, devoted to social tourism, has taken place in Moscow, in the Plenipotentiary Representative Office RB under the President of Russia, the press-service of the Government RB reports. The forum is planned to hold in Ufa on December 15-16.
The proposal concerning holding of such forum has been sent to the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov by the Federal Agency for Tourism within the frames of the federal goal-oriented program “Development of internal and external tourism in Russian Federation in 2011-2018”. For today Bashkortostan is the only Russian region, where this project is already becoming a reality.
As the deputy head of the Federal Agency for Tourism under the Ministry for sport, tourism and youth policy of Russia Dmitry Mikheev said, Republic of Bashkortostan possesses all constituents for development of tourism and this experience should be developed further.
It is expected that the agreement concerning interaction in sphere of tourism will be signed between the Government of Bashkortostan and the Federal Agency during the forum. The all-Russian gathering “Regional goal-oriented programs as a constituent part of the federal program “Development of internal and external tourism in Russian Federation in 2011-2018”, the plenary session “Development of social tourism in Russia: problems and ways for their solution” and the tourist exhibition, where the tourist resources of the region are to be demonstrated, will also take place at the forum. The press-tour for federal and Republican mass-media in Bashkortostan will be organized too.
For the reference: the program for development of social tourism in Republic of Bashkortostan was worked up and approved in April 2011. It was initiated by the President RB Rustem Khamitov. The volume of financing for the program from the budget sources amounts to 36,9 million rubles
and the planned number of tourist vouchers for pensioners and people with disabilities makes up three thousand.
The program provides for the subsidies to pensioners and people with disabilities up to 70% of the coast of vouchers at the expense of the budget means, but not more than 11 thousand rubles per one voucher.
The next order of distribution of vouchers on the social routes is determined: the routes in Bashkortostan – 60%, the tours of Russian Federation – 30% and tours in foreign countries – 10%.
