Rustem Khamitov signed the decree concerning preparations and holding of the Winter International Children Games-2013 in Ufa
On November 1 the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov signed the decree concerning preparation and holding of the VI Winter International Children Games-2013 in Ufa , the public affairs service of the President RB reports.
In accordance with the decree the VI Winter International Children Games will be held in the capital of Bashkortostan in February-March 2013. The Government RB jointly with the steering committee is ordered to work up and approve the plan of actions before December 20, 2011, and to determine the funding sources.
For the reference: the International Children Games are held since 1968 with the assistance of the International Olympic Committee and children at the age of 12-15 traditional take part in them. Since the moment of the Games' foundation 37 thousand young sportsmen have taken part in these competitions. 44 summer and 5 winter games have been organized in a whole since 1968. It is expected about one thousand pupils from many countries will take part in the competitions in Ufa.
