Representative of Bashkir agrarians has met Dmitry Medvedev
Problems of social development in the countryside, construction of rural roads, attraction of young specialists and their supply with good housing – the chairman of the agricultural co-operative “Bazy” Vadim Sokolov raised these problems during the meeting with the President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev. The head of one of the most successful agricultural enterprises RB has taken part in the talk with the President of the country concerning problems and prospects in development of Russian agriculture together with other 12 best representatives of the agricultural branch.
“It's too early to sum up the results of the harvest-2011” — Dmitry Medvedev said — “But it is quite clear that 2011 has become much more positive for our villagers as well as for all citizens of the country than 2010, when the situation was harder. All of you were working hard and we often had to make various decisions for support of Russian agrarians in great haste”.
The President of Russia has mentioned that this support really helped the agrarians, perhaps, not in all situations, nonetheless no radical worsening occurred. Further Dmitry Medvedev told about the measures of state backing for the Russian agricultural complex.
“The harvest of this year is much better” — he mentioned — “At present time the grain harvest has already reached about 90 million tons but we hope to collect 95 million”.
Further realization of the program “Social development of villages” has become the central theme during the meeting of the President of Russia with the delegation of Russian agrarians. The President of the country has stated that the work in this direction will be continued. The agrarians have told the President RF in their turn about very serious problem with the insurance of crops and in this connection raised the question concerning honesty of the insurance companies.
