The delegation of Poland, headed by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Republic of Poland in Russian Federation Voizech Zayonchkovsky, is found in Ufa on a business visit these days. The guests visited the Bashkir State University, the Trade-Industry Chamber RB and became acquainted with work of the Republican Polish culture and enlightenment center.

“Our impressions are only positive” — the Ambassador said at the press-conference in  the news agency “Bashinform” — “I've been in your Republic 20 years ago. Since then Ufa changed much. It is evidently that the region possesses solid potential for cooperation”.

The Ambassador said that Poland was interested in establishment of business contacts in economics, agriculture, food industry, housing and communal services as well as in sphere of education.

“In the majority of cases the business interests of the global community are focused in the central part of Russia but we'd like to widen these borders. Bashkortostan demonstrates solid economic potential for today as one of big Russian regions” — Voizech Zayonchkovsky mentioned.

The Ambassador has highly appreciated the activity of the Polish culture and enlightenment center, established in Bashkortostan in 1997.
