The Chairman of the Russian Government Vladimir Putin congratulated all Russian agrarians with their professional festival. He mentioned that development of the country and the rise of quality of people's life in many respects depends upon stable work of agriculture.
“For the last years Russian agricultural complex achieved substantial results – production of the main foods goes up and big investment projects are found under development” — Vladimir Putin underscored — “Today we have to make these positive tendencies stable, directing the efforts of state and business to qualitative modernization of Russian agricultural complex, making it a high-tech, competitive branch of the national economics. And, certainly, improvement of social infrastructure in the countryside, erection of modern housing and opening of new workplaces remain the key priorities of our social policy”.
