For seven months of 2011 the average monthly salary in the Republic amounted to 17426 rubles according to the Bashkir State Statistics Committee. As compared with the same period of time in 2010 it increased almost by 11,8%. But taking the inflation into account the real salary increased just by 1,5%.
By the amount of average wage Bashkortostan stands by 23% behind the all-Russian level (about five thousand rubles) as well as behind its neighbors in Volga federal district – Perm region, Tatarstan, Samara and Nizhniy Novgorod regions.
Low wage rates are observed in sphere of wholesale and retail trade. Here the average wage is found by 14% behind the average all-Russian level.
The average per capita monetary incomes of citizens RB made 16873 rubles for seven months of the year. The incomes increased by 7,2% as compared with the same period of time in 2010.
At the same rime real disposable monetary incomes of population dropped by 2,9% in January-July 2011, making up 97,1%. In opinion of the experts all abovementioned says about still insufficient rates of growth of population incomes and at the same time about high consumer prices for goods and services.
