Wages of teachers will be raised by 30%
Wages of teachers will be raised by 30%, as the State Duma deputy, coordinator of “United Russia” project “Modernization of education” Nikolai Bulaev reported at today’s gathering of “United Russia” Bashkir regional division.
This increase is held within the frames of the party project “Modernization of education”, meant for 2011-2013. The pedagogues will receive new wages probably in October but the final amount of their wages will depend on quality of their work and the results of the attestation.
Along with the rise of teachers’ wages the project “Modernization of education” presumes support of regional programs for modernization of education, assistance to supplying of education institutions with modern equipment and inculcation of new IT at Russian schools.
Within the frames of the project the federal budget will transfer 120 billion rubles to the Russian regions: 20 billion in 2011, 60 billion – in 2012 and 40 billion – in 2013. The amount of the subsidies for every region is determined depending upon the number of pupils and the level of budget provision in this or that region.
Acquisition of new school equipment, vehicles for transportation of pupils, the rise of qualification level and re-qualification of pedagogues and modernization of basic schools through establishment of distant education centers at these schools can be financed at the expense of the federal budget.
Nikolai Bulaev mentioned that the corresponding amendment to the federal budget, necessary for allocation of 20 billion rubles in 2011, is already introduced.
“All deputies of “United Russia” voted for” – he said – “None of the deputies of other parties supported this amendment”.
Nikolai Bulaev also reported that Bashkortostan became the first region, where the project “Modernization of education” was discussed in details.
“This first discussion site is very important for us, since nobody in Russia held such debates before” – he said – “Such discussions are necessary for revision of the project”.
