Winners of the contest for historical-cultural heritage will be invited to Baku

Journalists from CIS countries are invited to take part in the contest, devoted to preservation of the historical-cultural heritage: monuments of material and non-material culture, ancient settlements, historical-cultural reserves, arts and crafts etc. The contest is held by the Azerbaijani state telegraph agency (AZERTADJ) within the frames of the plan of prior measures in sphere of humanitarian cooperation.

The requirements are the following: the materials should be laconic (not more than two-three pages), actual and reflect modern realities. All materials have to be written in Russian language.

The works will be estimated by the collegial international jury, consisting of fie employees of the leading CIS news agencies (ITAR-TASS, BELTA, UKRINFORM, KAZINFORM and AZERTADJ). The general director of AZERTADJ Aslan Aslanov will be the chairman of the jury.

The winner of the first place will win 1000 dollars; 500 dollars will be given for the second place and 300 USD – for the third. Besides, three encouraging prizes will be established.

All materials are accepted till November 15 inclusive to the address: azertac@azdata.net.

The totals of the contest will be summed up in the end of the year. Winners will be rewarded in Baku, the site of the Russian Journalists Union reports.
