On September 1 the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov has taken part in opening of the sports complex at the Republican boarding school N5 in Ufa. The sports complex under the boarding school includes three sports halls: the first one is meant for boxing, wrestling and judo, the next one is meant for fencing and badminton and the third sports hall is universal – for basketball, volley-ball, mini-football and handball. There is also a stadium on the territory of the sports center 90x60 meters with natural coating, racetracks and the sector with modern rubber coating and equipment for track and field training. Reconstruction of the training and residential blocks, construction of the new canteen and a hostel is planned in the nearest future.
