The Central Election Committee of Russia intends to define the results of the State Duma elections at the latest by December 19
The Central Election Committee of Russia plans to determine the results of the State Duma election at the latest by December 19 and publish these results by December 24 at the latest, as RIA “NOVOSTI” reports.
Today the Russian Ministry of Justice published the list of seven parties, having the right to participate in the State Duma elections in accordance with the Russian law “The political parties”. The list includes “United Russia”, the Communist Party of Russia (CPRF), the Liberal-Democratic party of Russia (LDPR), “YABLOKO” (Apple), “The Patriots of Russia”, “Fair Russia” and “Just Cause”. The representatives of the parties, collecting at least 5%, may join the lower chamber of Russian parliament and one has to collect at least 7% for making a faction.
The elections to State Duma are appointed on December 4, 2011.
