“HIMPROM” and “Semenovskaya gold-mining factory” will be included into the federal program for ecological safety
Two objects on the territory of Bashkortostan, temporarily closed down – JSC “HIMPROM” and “Semenovskaya gold-mining factory” – will be included into the federal program “Ecological security in Russia”. The program will be worked up in the country already in 2012.
“We have several enterprises, which can be considered the objects of ecological damage of the past years. One of such enterprises – JSC “HIMPROM” – was temporarily closed down still in 2004. Its territory, more than 300 hectares, is certainly polluted. The object represents potential danger and we monitor this area all the time. At present time we’ve already worked up the project documentation for sanitation of “HIMPROM” territory. The Minister of natural resources and ecology of Russia Uri Trutnev assured us in written form that the project for sanitation of “HIMPROM” territory would be included into the national program “Ecological safety of Russia” for further financing in the priority order” – the Minister of nature management and ecology RB Azat Kutliakhmetov said today during the online conference, organized by “The Public Electronic Newspaper”.
One more object is planned to include into the same program – this is the former Semenovskaya gold-mining factory, located in Baimaksky region of Bashkortostan. The project works on sanitation of its territory should begin in the nearest future. At present time there are two big objects in Bashkortostan, which will be potentially included into the federal goal-oriented program for ecological safety.
