The Muslim civilian registry office will be opened in Ufa and this office will become the first not just in the city but in the whole of Bashkortostan, where Muslims can register their marriage in accordance with Islamic traditions as well as in accordance with the Russian legislation.
The office is planned to be opened by the holiday of Uraza-Bayram on August 30. It will be located near the mosque “Khamza” in Ufa micro-district “Sipailovo”. This mosque was erected in the course of ten years. It has been built up in 2006 on the means of the charity fund under the guidance of the patron Khamza Gallyamov.
The building of the registry office will be meant for 50 people and it is expected that it will be used not only for registration of marriages but also for studies.
