By the end of the year employed population in Bashkortostan will reduce to 1 million 800 thousand people
According to the forecasts of the experts the economically active population in Bashkortostan will reduce to one million 800 thousand people by the end of this year. At present time there are slightly more than two million such people in the Republic.
“Very serious changes have occurred in the labor market. The situation is cardinally changed. The problems of labor aren’t regulated in Russia up to now. At present time there are 2 million 600 thousand people in the Republic, who don’t work – this is very big figure, especially if taking into account the fact that by the end of this year the economically active population will make up 1 million 800 thousand people, reducing by approximately 200 thousand” – the deputy Prime-Minister of the Government RB Fidus Yamaltdinov said, speaking at the gathering, devoted to summing up the work balance of the Republican employment service for the last six months.
“The number of working villagers is also extremely low for today” – the Minister said – “So it is important to work in this direction – assistance to job placement for rural workers. Unfortunately I have to say that the more or less objective picture in the labor market is still absent and it undermines our budget policy. In 2011 all social funds turned out to be unprofitable. To my mind the main goal of the employment service is in spite of all difficulties to try and keep the existing service scheme from the point of view of assistance to public employment, finishing 2011 with good showings”.
