On August 17 the Prime-Minister of the Government RB Azamat Ilimbetov has held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Bangladesh in Russia Saiful Hock in Ufa. The parties were discussing the common questions on development of business relations between Bashkortostan and this South-Asian country.
“We are going to establish mutually beneficial cooperation with the Republic” – the Ambassador stated – “First of all we are interested in agriculture and education. To our opinion Bashkortostan possesses all conditions so that the students from Bangladesh might study at the Republican technical institutes. As for agriculture we have the plans on long-term grain export from Bashkortostan to Bangladesh”.
According to the Ambassador it is the question of deliveries of 300 thousand tons of grain annually. At the same time Bangladesh can supply Bashkortostan with leather wares, tea, sea products and other goods.
