author: Alfia Agliullina

Every pilgrim, making hadj, must have the certificate of inoculation against meningitis. The Russian Agency for Health and Consumer Rights in RB reports the inoculation has to be done for the period not more than three years and at least ten days before arrival in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It has to be the four-component vaccine “MENCEVAX ACYW”. This is the requirement, made by the Ministry of health protection of Saudi Arabia. Besides, the Ministry of health protection of Saudi Arabia recommends the countries, sending their pilgrims to Mecca, to vaccinate them against the seasonal flu, especially it concerns elderly people and people, suffering from diabetes, chronic respiratory diseases, diseases of liver and kidneys. Vaccination against flu is compatible with other vaccinations. All persons should be supplied with the special vaccination certificates.
