The National Research Institute “The Higher School of Economics” published the results on observation of the transparency of the Russian institutes’ sites for the school-leavers.
The Bashkir State University (BGU) turned out to be one of the leaders of this monitoring. The press-service of the University reports that BGU collected the maximal number of points-110 together with other 13 Russian institutes.
The monitoring was carried out in two stages. The availability of accessible and useful for school-leavers information on the sites was estimated on the first stage. Every parameter had certain number of points (5, 10 or 15 depending upon the complexity).
The attention was focused on the principles of placement of the lists of the school-leavers, recommended to enrolment on the second stage. The availability of the information, useful for wider audience, for example, the information about pedagogues, education programs and the best graduates was estimated additionally.
The results of the Bashkir institutes are the following: the Bashkir State University – 110 points, the Ufa State Academy of economics and service – 80, the Bashkir State Agrarian University and the Ufa State Aviation Technical University – 75, the Bashkir State Medical University – 70, the Bashkir Academy of public service and management, the Bashkir State Pedagogical University – 65 points, the Ufa State Oil Technical University – 50.
