The students of journalism faculties from different countries may do practical work in the USA. The program, initiated by “Scripps Howard Foundation” gives two foreign students per year an opportunity to do a practical work, working for “Scripps Howard News Service”, the site of the Journalists Union of Russia reports.
The program is made so that foreign students get a chance to cover the events in the capital of the United States, making reports and essays for “Scripps Howard Foundation Wire”. The materials, prepared by the probationers, can be published in the newspapers all over the United States.
The probationers have to master fluent oral and written English language. They will do a practical work in the course of one of two semesters: January-April or September-December 2012.
The term of application for the first semester is till September 12, 2011.
