Bashkortostan will allocate 19 million rubles for distant education of children with disabilities
Bashkir authorities intend to spend 19 million rubles for distant education of children with disabilities in 2011. More than 46 million will be transferred from the federal budget, as the Ministry of education RB reported to “Bashinform”.
“All means obtained will be spent for purchase, assembly and connection of the equipment, software and for training of pedagogues and parents of such children” – the senior specialist of the Ministry’s special education department Lubov Eremeeva explained.
The children have to receive the units of necessary equipment, computers, scanners, cameras etc. The technique of six types is meant for the children with different disabilities.
Thanks to this means other 150 pupils will be able to take part in the lessons at home during the forthcoming school year.
In a whole 197 children with the restricted health abilities are taught in the region with the help of internet and computer technologies now. At the same time other 500 children with disabilities, who are in need of the distant education, live in the Republic at present time.
