Dmitry Medvedev presented the Order of Honor to Archbishop Nikon
The President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev rewarded the head of Ufa Eparchy, Archbishop of Ufa and Sterlitamac Nikon with the Order of Honor, the press-service of Ufa Eparchy reported. The Order was presented for his major breakthroughs in public and charitable activity and for the merits in education of younger generation.
Archbishop Nikon received the Order in Kremlin on July 28. Same day Dmitry Medvedev has rewarded other 39 prominent citizens of the country, including the Vice-Speaker of Russian State Duma Vladimir Zirinovsky, test-pilot Sergey Bogdan, the director of the news agency “ITAR-TASS” Vitally Ignatenko and others.
