The summer school of the French-Russian Researches Center “Many-sided Volga-Ural region: ethnic and confessional groups in modern Russia” finishes working in Abzelilovsky region of Bashkortostan today.
In the course of four days the foreign guests were investigating the aboriginal traditions of Bashkir nation, becoming acquainted with its traditional occupations – bee-keeping and production of kumis (horse milk), with everyday life of Bashkir families and with Bashkir folk musical instruments.
The action was conducted by the instructions of the President RB as a result of the meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France in Russia Jean de Gliniasty, held in May 2011.
