The primaries on elimination of candidates to the deputies of State Duma will start in Bashkortostan’s “United Russia” division on July 21. For the first time the procedure of primaries was used by “United Russia” in 2007. This time the primaries will be held in coordination with the all-Russian National Front. In total complexity the primaries list of candidates in Bashkortostan consists of 120 people, including the active State Duma deputies, well-known business people and scientists, activists of culture and representatives of public communities. The President RB Rustem Khamitov stands at the head of the list.
“We expect rather complicated procedure of primaries” – the President RB said – “And fairly this is the check-up of what we all worth in the reality because people will vote for leaders, for those, whom they trust and with whom they can solve their problems – this is rather serious procedure”.
The primaries will be held within the period between the 21st of July and the 10th of August on 17 sites in towns and regions of Bashkortostan.
“People believe that through the National Front , through the parties, through “United Russia” in this very case they can take part in real politics, expressing their interests and expectations” – the President RB stated.
As for the whole country, the primaries will be held on 800 sites and about 4,5 thousand candidates will take part in it.
