Paralympic swimmers of Bashkortostan returned from Berlin with nine medals

The European swimming championship among Paralympic sportsmen is over in Berlin. Three representatives RB played for the national team of Russia: the Paralympic champion Oksana Savchenko, Michael Zimin and Alexander Nevolin-Svetov.

Bashkir sportsmen have won nine medals (five golden, three silver and one bronze medals).

Oksana Savhcenko has become the fourfold champion of Europe-2011 at different distances: 200 meters (medley style), 100 m (backstroke), 50 and 100 m (free-style).

Alexander Nevolin-Svetov has won “gold” at the distance 100m (backstroke) and three silver medals at the distances 200 meters (medley style) and 50 and 100 m (free-style).

Michael Zimin has won a bronze medal in breast-stroke.

By the number of the medals the Russian team has won the fourth place with 64 medals after the national teams of Ukraine (the first place), the Great Britain (the second place) and Spain (the third).
