Russian State Duma intends to achieve visa-free trips to Europe for Russians
The deputies of the Russian State Duma intend to achieve the bilateral agreement with the EU countries concerning visa-free mode for Russians in case they make short-terms trips to Europe. This question was one of the key ones, discussed at the 12th gathering of the Big Russian-Italian Inter-Parliamentary Commission in Moscow, held under the chairmanship of the deputy State Duma Chairman Lubov Sliska and the deputy Chairman of the Italian Deputies Chamber Maurizio Lupi, as the deputy of the State Duma Irshat Fakhritdinov reported to the news agency “Bashinform”.
According to him the prospects of cooperation in sphere of economics, science and atomic power engineering were also under discussion in the course of the gathering. Besides, Russian and Italian parliamentarians intend to exchange experience in sphere of struggle with corruption.
The next 13th gathering of the Big Russian-Italian Inter-Parliamentary Commission will take place in 2012 in Italy.
