A Georgian Sunday school to start working in Ufa
A hobby group of Georgian language will start working in Ufa soon. The chairman of the Georgian national-cultural center “Shota Rustaveli” David Gureshidze reported to the news agency “Bashinform” about that. The Ministry of education and science of Georgia has already presented the text-books of Georgian language for that. The corresponding materials were also obtained fr om the Ministry of culture of Georgia.
“The hobby group will start working in September 2011 and any person may study Georgian language there. In the nearest future we intend to open a Sunday school, wh ere everybody may study language, literature, history, national music and culture of Georgia” – David Gureshidze said.
He also added the main problem for today was the absence of the suitable apartments.
“Here we figure on the support of the Ministry of education RB and in our opinion an office at one of the Ufa schools for Sunday lessons would be the most optimal variant for us”.
