On June 15 a delegation of Japan Association for Trade with Russia and NIS (ROTOBO, Japan) arrives in Bashkortostan. The program of staying of the Japanese delegation is planned for three days and includes carrying out of a business forum, visiting of industrial enterprises and scientific organisations of the region.
The Memorandum of Intentions on Cooperation between the Government of Bashkortostan Republic and Japan Association for Trade with Russia and NIS (ROTOBO) was signed on November 12, 2010 in Japan.
ROTOBO includes more than 200 members. Among them there are Japanese industrial and trading corporations: Mitsui, Sumitomo, Mitsubishi, TOYOTA, Honda, Nissan, SONY, Panasonic, TOSHIBA, insurance and passenger-and-freight companies, banks, scientific institutes, mass media, local governments and other organisations.
On June, 16 the Japanese delegation will start its acquaintance with sights of Ufa with visiting of the Archeology and Ethnography Museum of Bashkortostan. Then, after a protocol meeting of the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov with members of ROTOBO delegation, in second half of the day a conference-seminar on issues of trade and investment cooperation between Japan and Bashkortostan Republic with participation of delegation of representatives of business and governmental structures of Japan will take place in the Congress Hall.
On June 17 it is planned to visit the State Unitary Enterprise RB «Neftehimpererabotka Institute», JSC «Ufa Engine-building Production Association», LLC "ЕСМ". The same day another group of representatives of the Japanese delegation will visit LLC "Joint venture Witzenmann -Russia" (Ufa), JSC "BelZAN" (Belebey).
The ROTOBO delegation will finish its program by visiting the territory of technopark "RusHydro-Alstom" on June, 18.
