Musicians of the chamber orchestra Moscow Virtuosi spent the Children’s Day in Ufa. In the recreation centre "Neftyanik" they gave a charitable concert, having acted as a background for soloists-children — scholarship holders of the Vladimir Spivakov’s Fund. Among performers there was a representative of Bashkortostan violoncellist Iskander Hannanov.
Rustem Khamitov, the President of Bashkortostan with his spouse visited this musical evening. Before that during the day he participated in the very intensive festive program. Pupils of musical schools were allowed to be on the scene behind the orchestra. Children received unique experience, observing the orchestra work from inside, seeing in front of them the face of the conductor and the audience reaction.
Spectators treated young musicians with great warmth. Having paid for tickets from 900 roubles on the balcony to three thousand in the orchestra stalls, they did not spare applause. At the end of the concert the touched fans of music together with the President and his wife stood up welcoming actors.
As Vladimir Spivakov informed at the press conference before the performance according to the tradition the money means from joint concerts of the orchestra with students of the fund would be directed for charitable purposes, in particular, for medical treatment of young musicians. For years of its existence the fund financed operations to 96 children, the maestro said.
