Bashkortostan is among the leaders on projects financed by the Russian Humanitarian Centre
Vasiliy Grebenyuk the professor, the adviser of the Russian Humanitarian Scientific Fund marked at the All-Russia scientific conference devoted to the 60 anniversary of the Ufa centre of science of the Russian Academy of Sciences that Bashkortostan was among leaders on number of projects financed by the Russian Humanitarian Centre.
— The agreement between the Russian Humanitarian Centre and Bashkortostan was concluded in 2004, it concerned the regional-focused support of humanitarian projects, — Vasiliy Grebenyuk said. – In spite of the fact that this agreement was a little tardy — with other regions similar agreements had been concluded earlier, our region was among leaders both on number of projects financed by the Centre, and on the amount of means directed for this financing. Thus, 12 projects of Bashkortostan were supported in 2005. The support from the republic made 575 million, the same sum was allocated by the Centre. This year the quantity of projects made already 62, and the financing total sum — 10 million. Financing of expeditions became a distinguishing feature, because not all regions undertake the support of scientific expeditions. All this means that scientific research is actively conducted in the republic.
