Representatives of the International Hockey Federation (IHF) will pay a business visit to Ufa on Wednesday, May 18.
The press-service of the Ministry of youth policy and sport RB reports the delegation, headed by the President of Russian Hockey Federation Vladislaw Tretyak, consists of the head of Russian Hockey Federation’s hockey development department Nikolai Urupin, the head of Canadian Hockey Federation press-service Andre Bryn, the deputy General Secretary, IHF competitions director Hannes Ederer, the representative of the TV company TSN Paul Graham and others.
The main goal of their visit is estimation of the preparations for the youth hockey world championship-2013.
During two days (May 18 and 19) the guests intend to visit the biggest sport objects of Ufa – “Ufa-Arena” and Ufa Sports Palace and several local hotels and they will take part in solemn honoring of the hockey club “Salavat Ulaev”.
The work meeting on holding the youth hockey world championship-2013 will take place in “Ufa-Arena” on May 19. The current technical questions will be under discussion there – accommodation of the hockey teams, technical and TV equipping, advertising campaign, work with volunteers and other problems.
The press-conference, where the President of Russian Hockey Federation Vladislaw Tretyak, the head of the Ministry of youth policy and sport RB Alexander Nickerin, the director of the hockey club “Salavat Ulaev” and other officials are going to answer the questions, will take place on May 19 in “Ufa-Arena”. The beginning is at 15 o’clock.
