The publisher of worldly known guidebooks “le Petit Fute” Pierre-Christian Broche arrived in Ufa to become acquainted with the tourist potential of our Republic. The famous publisher arrived by invitation of the state business undertakings and tourism committee RB.
The direct acquaintance with history and culture of Bashkortostan and with its tourist potential is the main goal of M-r Broche visit. M-r Broche will visit historical and cultural places of interest RB, its archeological and ethnographic monuments, including one of the biggest karst caves in South Ural – Shulgan-Tash, Umaguzinskoe water-reservoir and the sanatorium “Krasnousolsky”. He will be accompanied by the chairman of the business undertakings and tourism committee RB Ruslan Kinzikeev.
It should be noted that the agreement with the Russian Tourist Operators Association, uniting more than 50 most influential operators, has been signed by the state business undertakings and tourism committee RB on April 5, 2011, at the XI interregional specialized exhibition “Tourism, Sport, Rest, Health Center of Russia”. Now the information about tourist and recreational resources RB is available on the Association’s site: www.atorus.ru/tourist/rest_in_Russia/bashkiria.html.
From now the heads of Bashkir municipalities are responsible for supplying the site with the information. There are many unique natural objects on the territory RB: karst caves, rivers, lakes, ridges, three state reserves and the national natural park, monuments of history, art, culture and archeology. Bashkortostan possesses excellent opportunities for development of tourism but the Republic and its places of interest have to be recognizable both in Russia and abroad.
The publication of “Le Petit Fute” guidebook on Republic of Bashkortostan will become the next stage in advancement of our region in Russian and international tourist markets, as the press-secretary of the state business undertakings and tourism committee RB Lilia Gabdrakhimova said.
