The Days of Slavic literature and culture will start in Bashkortostan on May 13 and will be held in the majority of the Republican towns and regions.
Thus, within the frames of this annual action the festival of Polish culture, which the delegation from Poland takes part in, will be held in Ufa, Ufimsky region and in the town of Neftekamsk. The evening of Byelorussian poetry will take place in the village Iglino, Iglinsky region RB, on May 17. The festival of ancient Russian song will be held in the villages Nadejdino, Usen-Ivanovskoe and Krasny Yar. Folklore festivals are scheduled in the villages Zolotonoshka and Nikolo-Berezovka, in the Memorial House-Museum of S.T. Aksakov in Ufa and at many Republican Sunday schools and institutes.
The Days of Slavic literature and culture will last till May 29.
