author: Eugene Rakhimkulov

The Alley of Memory is planted near the trade-entertaining “GOSTINY DVOR” on the occasion of the Victory Day. Veterans of war and labor, heads of ministries and department RB, honorable citizens of Ufa and heads of public and religious communities were planting the personal trees in the memory about Defenders of Fatherland. They’ve planted 11 trees.

The deputy Prime-Minister of the Government RB Zugura Rakhmatullina, the Minister of health protection George Shebaev, State Duma deputy Salia Murzabaeva, the Minister of land and property relations RB Ulay Ilyasov and other top officials took part in the solemn ceremony.

The chairman of the Republican Veterans Council Marat Mullagalyamov has reminded the participants of the action that 2011 is a peculiar year for the country – the 70th anniversary from the moment when fascist Germany attacked the Soviet Union.

“Our Motherland new many wars but not such” – He said – “The fascists occupied and destroyed 1710 settlements and small towns in the country and killed 26 million people. But we haven’t wavered and now we celebrate the Victory Day already for the 66th time and our generation will stand for the motherland as well as veterans of the Great Patriotic War stood for it”.
