Bashkiria will receive 15 billion rubles for modernization of its medicine and intends to invest its own means additionally, the Minister of health protection RB George Shebaev told to journalists. About 60% of the means will be spent for inculcation of the medical aid standards and the rest – for strengthening of the material and technical base of the institutions and for their informatization.
“We have to equip additionally about 100 medical institutions but the matter is not the unique equipment. We have to solve great number of everyday problems in order to reach at least the average level. We have 2143 obstetrical points and about 580 points are found in very bad state and need the first aid, especially taking the fact that 40% of our population live in the countryside into account” – the Minister said.
Informatization is called to regulate the reception queues, i.e. the electronic previous appointment through internet, as M-r Shebaev explained. It will make the work of polyclinics transparent and they won’t be able to report about 100%-service for all incoming patients, not making it in reality. “In order to launch informatization we have to buy the computers first and many hospitals still don’t have them” – the Minister mentioned.
