Bashkir State University widens borders of international cooperation
The pedagogue fr om the USA, academic Vice-President from South Maryland College Debora Tervala visits the Bashkir State University today. As the Bashkir State University press-service reports, having become one of the grant owners on the Fulbright program – the largest international exchange program in educational sphere, financed by the US Government, Mrs. Tervala made the establishment of partnership relations with Russian institutes her main aim. She has already visited Moscow and Yekaterinburg.
The deputy Prime-Minister of the Government RB Zugura Rakhmatullina has held a meeting with Mrs. Tervala. The rector of the Bashkir State University Akhat Mustafin has received the colleague from the USA later and within the frames of this meeting the matter was the necessity to establish partnership relations between two institutes, including interchange of students and pedagogues and realization of other joint projects. Besides, the guest from the United States had a talk with students and pedagogues of the University’s Roman-German philology and economic faculties.
Within the frames of today’s program Mrs. Tervala is visiting the Institute of Law under the Bashkir State University. Her other official meeting with the rector, wh ere the concrete proposals on cooperation are to be discussed, will take place on Friday,April 15.
