Delegation of the Central Clerical Muslim Dept of Russia has visited “TURKSOY”

The delegation of the Central Clerical Muslim Dept of Russia, consisting of its chairman, the Supreme Mufti RF Talgat Tadjuddin, the chairman’s advisor Rustam Sharafutdinov, the imam of the First Ufa Mosque Vasyl Timirgaliev and a member of the Central Clerical Muslim Dept’s Council Angametdin Afzalov, has visited Turkish Republic. The guests held meetings with the Turkish state, public and religious activists, scientists and students.

The Bashkir delegation has visited the headquarters of the international Turk culture organization “TURKSOY”. The deputy General Secretary of “TURKSOY” Fyrat Purtash, the General Director of the Turk Intellectuals Society Mekhmet Memish, the Director of the Union of Engineers and Architects of Turkey Ilyas Demirdji and representatives of the countries — the “TURKSOY” members, including the representative of the Ministry of culture RB Akhat Salikhov, were present at the meeting.

Fyrat Purtash has mentioned that 2010 was declared the Year of Akhmet-Zaki Validi Togan by “TURKSOY” and in many cultural actions, dedicated to Republic of Bashkortostan, have been held in this connection. Talgat Tadjuddin has underscored the activity of the Central Clerical Muslim Dept of Russia is aimed at development of friendly relations between all nations of the world.

The Russian clergy has also held a meeting with the chairman of the Fund on religious affairs of Turkey Mekhmet Germez and with the Minister of enlightenment of Turkey Nimet Chubukchu.
