The all-Russian educational action “Healthy Hearts” will be held in Ufa on April 1 and 2. The action will include organization of various arrangements on early detection of cardiovascular diseases, timely treatment, improvement of quality of life and life span among patients, formation of healthy way of life and responsible attitude to one’s health.
Besides the mass screening of the citizens for the main risk cardiovascular factors will be carried out within the frames of the action in the Culture Palace “NEFTYANIK” on April 2 – measuring of arterial pressure, the level of cholesterol and glucose in blood, the body mass index, the level of stress and dependency upon pernicious habits.
The action also includes holding of the special seminar for cardiologists, therapeutists, general practitioners and endocrinologists, where famous Russian scientists-cardiologists will read lectures before the audience.
The conference with the assistance of the chairman of the State Council RB Constantine Tolkatchev, the State Duma deputy Salia Murzabaeva, the Minister of health protection RB George Shebaev, the rector of the Bashkir State Medical University Valentine Pavlov and the senior doctor of the Republican Cardiology Dispensary Irina Karamova is scheduled on April 2.
According to information of the Ministry of health protection RB cardiovascular diseases remain one of the main reasons of high lethality in Russia and though the dynamics of death rate because of heart diseases steadily goes down, the absolute indices of the sickness rate continue growing. The death rate because of cardiovascular diseases among able-bodied population of Russia reaches 38% (37,7% among men and 40,1% among women).
In 2010 the death rate because of cardiovascular diseases in Bashkiria has dropped by 6,8% and lethality among the patients, suffering from the acute myocardial infarction – by 6,3%. The loss o the ability to work is prevented among the majority of the patients. The sweep of the patients with cardiovascular diseases by the Republican Regional Center and by the primary cardiovascular divisions makes up 26% and in the future within the frames of the program for health sphere modernization it is planned to increase the number of such centers with simultaneous development of the telemedicine.
