One third of the expenses of the Republican exchequer are meant for support of local town and regional budgets. In January-February 2011 local municipalities have received 3,159 billion rubles from the Republican budget and this is the most essential line of expenses for the first two months of this year.
The Ministry of finances RB reports the budget expenses for this period of time have been financed in the volume of 9,602 billion rubles – by 13,7% more than in 2010. 22,5% of the overall sum of expenses or 2,162 billion rubles are spent for social payments to population (pensions, allowances etc). The expenses for medical insurance of non-working population and other transfers to the Obligatory Medical Insurance Fund RB and to the Russian Pension Fund made up 17,8% (1,710 billion rubles). 15,9 % (1,152 billion rubles) were directed to salaries of the budget workers. 8,3%(0,799 billion rubles) were spent for financing of capital investments and road economy.
The revenues of the budget RB in January-February 2011 made up 12,019 billion rubles – by 14,2% more than for the same period of time in 2010.
The revenues of the consolidated budget RB made up 15,567 billion rubles – by 15,1% more than in 2010 – and the supply – 12,134 billion (+12,1%).
