The participants of the conference were discussing the problems, related to preservation of the native languages of the nations, inhabiting modern Russia. They’ve marked that language is considered one of the main values of the mankind. At the same time several dozens languages in Russia come within the category “Disappearing language”. The participants of the conference also appealed to the mass-media RB and demanded that local journalists should popularize the knowledge on history and culture of the nations, inhabiting modern Bashkortostan.
