author: Timur Rakhmatullin

The all-Russian project “Your Film about War” will be launched in Ufa on February 23, the project’s curator in Ufa Alexander Ivanov reported to the news agency “Bashinform”.

The representatives of the youth initiative group “Our City” and the youth movement “Together” will hold video-interviews with the participants of the Great Patriotic War. The veterans will answer 40 questions and in particular the activists intend to question them concerning the order “Not One Step Back”, about the American aid, the front-line love and about the traitors from the army of Vlasov.

As the curator says, only about 700 veterans – the participants of the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945 still live in Ufa. The film’s shooting will be over by the 9th of May.

The all-Russian project “Your Film about War” is aimed at patriotic education of youth, at making the video-archive of the war’s eye-witnesses and at the struggle with falsifications of the history. The action is held in Ufa by the initiative group “Our City” jointly with the Ufa division of the volunteer movement “Together” with the assistance of the Federal Youth Affairs Agency, Ufa veteran’s council and the Republican Hall of Fame.
