Bashkiria will be divided into several zones or sub-regions for more efficient economic development, the President RB Rustem Khamitov reported on Friday at the meeting of the Volga federal district’s coordination council for manpower policy. At that it looks quite rational to include five-seven regions into every sub-region.
The President RB says the programs for development of such regions are worked up now and such method of management is already applied to one of them – the Bashkir trans-Ural zone. The first results of such management can be summed up in the middle of the year.
The overall financing volume for development of the trans-Ural zone program for the period up to 2015 is 95 billion rubles and the main goal-oriented indices one intends to reach by this period of time are: the rise of the population’s incomes two times; housing provision will be increased from 22 to 25 square meters per capita and the rise of investments to the fixed capital per capita – 2,5 times.
