The program for modernization of health protection system RB in 2011-2012 is approved
The deputy Prime-Minister of the Government RB Fidus Yamaltdinov presented the regional program for modernization of the health protection system RB in 2011-2012 in Moscow at the meeting with the deputy Chairman of the Government RF Alexander Zukov.
The program presumes development of the several key directions in the system of medical aid: optimization of the Republican health care institutions’ activity, development of the multi-level medical aid model, strengthening of the material and technical base, informatization of the medical branch and transfer to new financial mechanisms of payments for medical services.
Establishment of inter-municipal specialized medical centers on the base of the big urban and central clinical hospitals is one of the main directions in the program. Nine centers will provide the patients with the specialized medical aid in the conditions, forming high levels of the population death rates (diseases of circulatory system, traumas and pollutions).
“The main principle of the activity of such medical centers is functioning of all services in around-the-clock mode” – Fidus Yamaltdinov stated at the meeting in Moscow.
It is expected more than 18 billion rubles will be attracted to realization of the program for two years, including the co-financing from the Republican and federal budgets. The lion’s share of the subsidies will be allocated for introduction of the new medical aid standards.
Modernization of the health protection system RB will allow raising the financing of the branch by 30% with simultaneous optimization of the budget expenses, at the same time raising the availability and quality of the medical services, the press-service of the Government RB reports.
