Forum of trans-Ural Muslim youth has taken place in Ufa
The Forum of trans-Ural Muslim youth has taken place in Ufa on Wednesday, February 16, organized by the youth division under the Clerical Muslim Dept RB. The gathering was devoted to the problems of religious extremism, alcoholism and drug addiction.
The chairman of the Clerical Muslim Dept RB, mufti Nurmukhamet Nigmatullin said the basics of the population’s social health were laid in families.
“Family is the first molecule of the society” – he stated – “because people assimilate the main principles of interaction with the representatives of other cultures from their parents first of all”.
As the mufti said, Muslims have to follow the middle way of Islam, avoiding the extreme views. Only in this case the believers can avoid the influence of various extremist flows, so the imams – the representatives of the Clerical Muslim Dept RB in the regions bear the main responsibility for correct interpretation of the Islamic dogmas.
The participants of the gathering mentioned that religious extremism in the Republic was always dictated from abroad and in this connection the first deputy Chairman of the Clerical Muslim Dept RB Aup Bibarsov suggested that the students, having studied at the foreign Islamic institutes, should pass a three-year recovery course after returning back home.
