Industrial production in Ufa has gone up by 10,6% in 2010

The index of industrial production in the capital of Bashkiria made up 110,6% in 2010, the head of Ufa administration industry dept  Alexander Zarubin reported on Tuesday. As he said, the index was higher than 100% in practically all branches of industry, except the production of rubber and plastic wares.

“In some branches the rates of economic rise in 2010 exceeded not just the showings of 2009 but even of pre-crisis 2008” – AlexanderZarubin stated – “Thus, Ufa refineries have made a substantial contribution to economic progress of the city. The index of industrial production in chemical branch was equal to 149% in many respects thanks to JSC “FARMSTANDARD-UFAVITA”, where the output went up almost three times”.

According to M-r Zarubin the engine and instrument-making plants of the city worked with substantial success – JSC “UMPO”, the federal state unitary enterprise “UPPO”, “Hydraulics” and others. The index of industrial production in polygraph and publishing sphere has gone up by 19% as compared with 2009.

At the same time such companies as “BETO”, Ufa plant “PROMSVYAZ” and JSC “UZEMIC” experienced through evident production slump.
