Presentation of the site “Christian faces of Russia” has taken place at the National Library by Achmet-Zaki Validi. Svetlana Komkova, a member of the Journalists Unions of Russia and Bashkiria is the author, the editor and the administrator of the site. The site exists during just one year but certain results are to the fore. Today the site contains information about 17 eparchies of Russian Orthodox Church and presents 398 Russian churches. The rubric “Creation” contains 90 author pages, representing the works of literature, fine arts, decorative and musical arts. The site consists of two divisions: the first division is devoted to the history of Russian churches and the second contains photo-reports and articles about people, taking part in the Christian life of the country.
