Bashkir Muslims propose to put an end to “national question”
Bashkir Muslims urge the public community to put an end to the so-called “national question”, the chairman of the Clerical Muslim Dept RB, mufti Nurmukhamet Nigmatullin said on Wednesday at the press-conference in the news agency “Bashinform”.
“Today in the third millennium the international and inter-religious relations are found in the focus of public attention” – he said – “It is no secret the differences on the ethnic and religious ground often become the reason for various conflicts all over the world. It’s high time to put an end to it. The answer to the question, which great number of the conferences and “round tables” in different countries are devoted to, in reality is found long ago. Our ancestors had found it hundreds and even thousand years ago. For instance, Koran says all people come from one common ancestors and it means the nations weren’t formed self-dependently. They all have one common root and correspondingly they have nothing to divide irrespective of language and color of the skin. Such doctrines can be found not only in Islam but in all other religions.
The solution of the “national question” will help to establish peace in the world in opinion of the mufti and representatives of all traditional religions, public organizations and the state have to start promoting this idea.
