The President of Bashkiria Rusten Khamitov visited the mill-power-engineering center in the village Ermolkino on January 21 in the course of his work trip to the south-western regions RB and became acquainted with work of the mini – hydroelectric station there.
The mill-power-engineering center was constructed in 2002 at the expense of the Repblican budget. The new center is equipped with the mini-hydroelectric station. The estimated cost of the project is about 12 million rubles. The capacity of the center is 23 kilowatt and it works out 552 kilowatt-hour daily and 93600 kilowatt-hour of electric energy annually.
In opinion of the President RB development of small power engineering is of paramount importance for the Republic and the center represents a good example of efficient management and this experience can be spread on other territories. The center is located on six hectares of lands, so one can grow vegetables here. The harvest is distributed as a part of wages and another part is sold out at the fairs. In 2010 110 centners of hay was stored up here. Besides, the water mill grinds grain for food flour and grain forage. 96 tons of grain was stored up here in 2010.
