The widened resulting collegium has taken place in the Ministry of internal affairs in RB and heads of the Republican law-enforcement bodies and the deputy head of the home front department of Russian Ministry of internal affairs Stanislaw Trushin took part in its work. He has mentioned that “stable dynamics” is observed in activity of the Ministry but at the same time the presence of “some underground destructive forces” is sensed in the Republic and often missions of the officers from the federal Ministry prove the preoccupation with this problem. M-r Trushin has paid much attention to the problem with flats in particular. At present time Russia launches a long-term federal goal-oriented program, on which means the employees of the Ministry of internal affairs may purchase social flats. In 2011-2012 five billion rubles will be appropriated (construction and housing purchases) and six billion – in 2013. The federal functionary has warned the Ministry will face total perestroika “of the whole vertical up to the regional subdivisions).

The Minister of internal affairs in RB Igor Aleshin said thanks to his employees for their achievements in 2010 – 40 disclosed crimes, including grave crimes and felonies, making up almost one fourth. The Minister marked overall lowering of criminality. At the same time M-r Aleshin called several shortcomings, unstable results in struggle with organized criminality and in anti-corruption work (only 9 cases of 400 revealed bribes considered “big” and “very big”) and there were the numerous facts of violation of human rights and liberties in the processes of either inquiry or preliminary investigation.
